Inclusion for People with Disabilities
In accordance with the mandated statutory regulations, the private sector is expected to play a role in providing opportunities for people with disabilities to work in companies. Thus, together with Third Party Operator (TPO), the Company started to pay attention to this through:
- Providing adequate support
Through capacity-building sessions about disabilities and hiring people with disabilities. - Developing the right mindset and abilities
By dissemination of information and providing a platform for interaction about disabilities to our employees, in order to better understand the needs of people with disabilities and know how to work with them. - Providing inclusive accessibility
By evaluating access to several locations for individuals with disabilities. Steps have been taken to build an accessible environment for people with disabilities.
Well-being Activities
Aside from conducive environments, we also prioritize employees' well-being to ensure they each have a work-life balance.
HOPE (Holistic Program for Employability)
HOPE is a program that aims to encourage employees and foster their entrepreneurial growth by increasing their financial literacy, developing their skills, and empowering them, including those at the Hand-rolled Cigarettes production facilities.
Support for Families and Caregivers
Sampoerna also support family values for all employees through various approaches:
- Global Parental Leave
Our parent company has a global parental leave policy in place, whereby our employees who are parents can earn 18 weeks of fully paid leave for primary caregivers as well as a minimum of 8 weeks of fully paid leave for secondary caregivers. - Sampoerna Parents Community
Sampoerna also facilitates employees under the Sampoerna Parents Community, a platform for sharing parenting content and tips among employees who are parents. - Virtual Parental Support Facilities
Virtual Parental Support Facilities is a program intended to support working parents, especially during holiday season. Our focus is not only on female parents but also male parents in order to create a more inclusive space.
