The Company provides equal opportunities for women to pursue strategic positions. With our women employees making up more than half of our workforce, we encourage women to develop their careers and pursue higher management positions in all lines o f work.

This certificate shows the company’s commitment in providing remuneration to its employees regardless of gender.

This commitment was reaffirmed in 2025, with zero non-conformities recorded, as reflected in the achievement of a green report status.

As our commitment to create a fair working space, we also respect workers’ rights based on industrial regulations. We realize that most of our workers are laborers, so we guarantee employment rights through healthy and harmonious industrial relations.

Inclusion for People with Disabilities

In accordance with the mandated statutory regulations, the private sector is expected to play a role in providing opportunities for people with disabilities to work in the Company. Thus, together withThird Party Operators (TPOs), the Company started to pay attention to this through:

  • Providing adequate support
    Through capability building sessions regarding disabilities and hiring persons with disabilities.
  • Developing a correct mindset and abilities
    Through the dissemination of information and the provision of interactive platforms on disability related topics, the Company enhances employees’ understanding regarding the needs of persons with disabilities and fosters an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
  • Providing inclusive accessibility
    Through access evaluations at several locations for persons with disabilities, with the aim of creating a more accessible environment.

HOPE (Holistic Program for Employability)

The HOPE (Holistic Program for Employability) program encourages employee entrepreneurship development by increasing their financial literacy, developing their skills, and empowering them, including those working at Hand- Rolled Cigarettes production facilities.

Support for Families and Caregivers

Sampoerna  also support the family values of all employees through various approaches:

  • Global Parental Leave
    Our parent company has a global parental leave policy in place, whereby our employees who are parents can earn 18 weeks of fully-paid leave for primary caregivers, as well as a minimum of 8 weeks of fully-paid leave for secondary caregivers.
  • Sampoerna Parents Community
    Sampoerna also provides employees with the Sampoerna Parents Community forum, allowing employees with children to share childcare tips. We also provide the forum with parenting content.
  • Virtual Parental Support Facilities
    Program aims to support working parents, especially during the holiday season. Our focus is not only on mothers, but also fathers, in order to create a more inclusive space.
