Nicotine is a naturally occurring compound found in tobacco leaves. The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated that although nicotine is a compound that causes addiction, it is not the compound responsible for a number of risks caused by smoking.
Based on a WHO estimate, there will still be more than 1.1 billion smokers by 2025. This is a public health challenge which is very relevant to the tobacco industry.

Among our smoke-free products are the heated tobacco products under the IQOS brand. IQOS technology heats tobacco and eliminate the combustion process, resulting in harmful and potentially harmful compounds that are 95 percent lower on average than cigarette smoke.
This product does not produce smoke, but an aerosol that contains nicotine.
