In addition to our own manufacturing facilities, we partner with 43 Third-Party Operators (TPOs) which are owned and operated by local cooperatives and entrepreneurs to produce SKT products.
We sell and distribute cigarettes through 105 sales offices and distribution offices.
Compliance
We consistently strive to create positive value for our stakeholders through hard work to achieve the best results. To achieve this goal, all of our employees are required to act with sincerity and integrity and fully comply with prevailing laws and our company policies.
This compliance establishes the DNA of the Sampoerna’s culture, and it applies to all levels of the organization.
Youth Access Prevention (YAP)
The company fully supports the government's efforts to prevent and prohibit the sale of tobacco and nicotine products to individuals under the age of 21. We believe that active participation and collaboration of all relevant stakeholders are needed to overcome these issues.
In line with our parent company's program, which aims to increase public awareness about the prohibition of sales of tobacco and nicotine products to individuals under 21 years of age, the company has implemented the Youth Access Prevention (YAP) Program in collaboration with retail partners.
To ensure that retailers who collaborate with the company comply with Marketing Principles and Practices, we have conducted several initiatives in 2024, including:
- Provided educational information regarding YAP Program through circular letters from Sampoerna to 1.5 million retail partners and Points of Sale.
- Placed information on Point of Sale Material (POSM) amounting to 1.5 million units across Indonesia.
- Added new rules that prevent further access to sales and marketing of tobacco products (cigarettes), electronic cigarettes, and other nicotine-containing products by individuals under the age of 21 in our partners’ contract clause.
